Letter Perfect

I love Garance Dore’s blog, photography and illustration and am so excited about her new stationery line launched this weekend at Colette in Paris … Nothing beats a personal, handwritten note; especially on such beautiful paper!

Love Interests

Rebecca’s husband, artist Wayne Pate, created the Poppy Tote bag.  His inspiration: “Besides spring the drawing of poppies embodies those little magical moments that life gives you for free. The poppies remind me of one of those in the South of France where there is a endless sea of them everywhere you look.”  He’s obsessed with Paris turn-of-the-century, 20’s and 30’s art scene and Jean Desbordes is his style icon.  Wayne’s instagram is a generous look into his creative mind.

The Poppy Tote is free with a purchase of $350 or more, while supplies last.

Italy, Illustrated and Instagrammed

I recently returned from Pitti Filati, a wonderful knitwear show.  I am working with an amazing new knitwear designer and so excited about what we have coming up for Spring 2013 …

Italy was fantastically inspiring, as always —- we stayed near Florence in a castle near the Arno River —- wonderful to sketch, as did my husband, illustrator Wayne Pate, or Instagram, a new discovery of ours.
