Fall 2015:  A certain je ne sais quoi

For this collection, my cool-girl-on-the-street muse was an eclectic French girl with effortless style; a romantic spirit who searches Portobello Market and Les Puces de Saint-Ouen for unique pieces and styles them with confidence and taste.   I see her in soft feminine layers topped off with utilitarian outerwear with touches of fuzzy texture; she pairs a Victorian top with a pleated skirt trimmed in leather; and she loves striding through the streets in a bold printed pant with a bit of flare at the hem.  The color palette consists of beautiful jewel tones – I wanted to give my girl a shot of color next winter – and the silhouette is elongated, and flowing:  there is a beautiful fluidity to the movement in the clothes which I believe makes my eclectic French girl all the more alluring.
